The exit of nanoparticles from solid tumours

Nanoparticles enter tumours through endothelial cells, gaps or other mechanisms, but how they exit is unclear. The current paradigm states that collapsed tumour lymphatic vessels impair the exit of nanoparticles and lead to enhanced retention.
